This book is about love and friendship. Two people who came together as friends involved in a minor sport that grew to love and respect each other. An unusual minor sport which brought them together - one Thai, one Englishman who have spent 20 years exploring this wonderful Kingdom of Thailand. It is about the wonderful people of Thailand and their hospitality to strangers who arrived from ‘out of the blue’ quite literally; the kindness of some of the poorest people of the land, he meals on the side of the khlongs, the’ lao khao’ on a farmer’s back porch in the evenings, the wealthier Thais who made many of these adventures possible and it is about the finding of a life partner for a Thai man and his wife who came together through this sport. We were very lucky to have flown all over the Kingdom, many flights that couldn’t be repeated now but go down in the pilot’s memories for probably the rest of their lives. Thailand is a very beautiful country and peoples and we hope we can bring you some of the amazing adventures we have had over the past 20 years.
